I had a similar problem in 1999 when traveling thru Wyoming and northern Utah. One time it took numerous tries (and a battery jump) after 4 hours in Park City, UT to get it started. When I got down to below 6000 feet, the problem disappeared. Running a 2.1 with Digijet on "Ole Putt". Never did figure out why. -- Jim Thompson 84 Westfalia 2.1 "Ole Putt" 73 K Ghia Coupe "Denise" 72 411 Station Wagon "Pug" oldvolkshome@gmail.com http://www.oldvolkshome.com ********************************** On 2/15/06, Keith Ovregaard <kovregaard@comcast.net> wrote: > > After two recent trips to the mountains in my 90 Syncro I noticed the > engine has experienced trouble starting at high altitude (5000- 7000 > ft.)
