I recently ordered a used replacement piston and a set of Grant rings
from VW Diesel Parts. The rings that they sent me are Grant rings,
which I associate--rightly or wrongly--with American iron. These guys
have a good reputation but I never heard anyone rave about Grant rings.

Any opinions? It's for a diesel application.
