  A recent  ( Mid-to- Late 2005) effort to rebuild a 1985 GL with good body/and interior, that was in running condition, resulted in a siezed motor with $1,300 worth of new parts.

  All reciepts are cataloged.

   Including the $70,00 manual.
   The parts include a new complete piston/cylinder set all the way around.
   A  total clutch kit,
   There is also an extra set of standard 1.9 rings.
   2 new tires,
   new radio, etc Oil pump,...etc. Water pump...Yada, yada, yada

  This worthless mechanic would not stand by his work.

  He built this without line boring it, gambeling all my $$$ and efforts, when he lost he left me holding the bag!

  I am preparing to recoup some of my losses/and warn locals through the justice system, I am not very optomistic, but maybe I can stop him from doing this crap to another dumb fish like me.

  Beware of shade tree mechanics that are "VW experts" working out of a barrowed garage.

  I refuse to pour any more $$$ into this seemingly bottomless German pit.

  I have estimates to R&R this siezed motor for $1,180.00

  I am willing to let this Van go for the first $750.00 cash, first come first served.

  I have a clean title, this Van is ready for pick up.

  Come and get it. Excellent for a completion of the restoration or a parts vehicle.
