Okay, I mentioned this a week or so ago, but I didn't have the url
for it. Some folks were inquiring about the large VW emblem in the
middle of the back hatch (88-91 Vanagons), and I wrote about 2
different ways that I'd seen/heard of this being made into a 3rd
brake light. The first, what I think is the coolest way, was to
replace the black background with a round tail light, so that the VW
symbol masks out the light. The other way, is what the Brazil folks
have some up with (and is probably superior), where the VW logo
itself is the illuminated section (using LEDs). Anyway, here's the
