TC Most rebuilders use reground lifters in ther rebuilds. I have seen to many problems with reground and other brands of new lifters that fail in a year or two I use Febi lifters only in my rebuilds they have never let me down all other brands have only the best for me if you have just one lifter that wont adjust back it off to 006ths and see if that helps pump it up and stay pumped have you have added marvel mistery oil and then an oil change after a few heat cycles you might next take it out and clean it then replace if needed with febi brand Bob Boston Engine ----- Original Message ----- From: "TC" <trclark@SHAW.CA> To: <vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM> Sent: Friday, February 24, 2006 5:41 PM Subject: VWC-022-109-309 - HYDRAULIC LIFTER from cip >I have a bad lifter that leaks down & start tapping tried adjusting > so I am going to get some new lifters > cip has a great price ~11/lifter 90 for set of 8 > They are made in denmark > http://www2.cip1.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=VWC-022-109-309 > > anybody tried these from cip any comments about the build quality >
