Subject: in need of an engine-87 vanagon

Hello! My bus has recently been diagnosed with engine cancer and needs a
transplant ASAP. I'm looking for a complete engine compatible with my 1987
Vanagon, Wolfsburg ed. I know this is an obscure request, and I've been
informed that the chances of me finding a spare VW engine somewhere are
slim, but if anyone has any insight or suggestions about how I could obtain
such a part, please respond. Thank you!!!!
