I named it that after its first $500 repair, and it remained appropriate up through the engine replacement. Now it only sucks gas and oil. Don't be afraid, John, it's only a #@&%$ van! Yeah. I mostly worry about my mechanical work. I know what I'm doing, but when I get tired I forget things. After installing my Boston Engine rebuilt I actually had the key in the ignition and turned to ON before I remembered I hadn't put oil in yet. The first 1000 miles after installing the new engine, transmission, hoses, etc. were nerve wracking. The longer it goes without blowing up, the better I feel. -- John Bange '90 Vanagon - "Geldsauger"
