So here a question for all the do it yourselfers, Can you spray a specific paint on the headlining, vinyl on the walls, plastic on the walls, or material on the seats including the cloth to change the color scheme? Was thinking of changing the color of the headliner, walls and center a/c shaft to White. Possibly painting the vinyl and plastic panels on the inner walls to white. (did some research, heres what I found) http://www.automotiveforums.com/t363218-dying_vinyl.html (Products Recommended) http://www.sem.ws/category.php?category_id=36 http://www.sem.ws/product.php?product_id=190 http://store.yahoo.com/yourautotrim-store/semdye.html (Vinyl Prep) http://www.eastwoodco.com/shopping/product/detailmain.jsp?itemID=2515&itemTy pe=PRODUCT&iMainCat=601&iSubCat=603&iProductID=2515 (Vinyl Dye) http://www.vhtpaint.com/penetratingcolordye.htm Then after walls were painted white, I was thinking of using a wood veneer and adhering it to the flat section of the wall paneling. I also plan on replacing the sliding door panels and back hatch cardboard with real wood. I was thinking I could trace the existing material onto MDF, use it as a template and then use the MDF to route the exact shape onto the wood sheets. Lastly can you actually spray a color onto the grey cloth seats to change the color? I have seen products advertised that claim to work, just wondering if anyone has done this? I know this sounds sort of radical but I was thinking of making the interior a little less drab and little more stylish. Open to ideas. -- Rob NYC/Long Beach, NY 88 Wolfsburg, Silver
