Subject:source of more cv grease?
From:Wesley Pegden
Date:Sat, 11 Mar 2006 11:07:52 -0500

this is turning into the job that never ends. I finally have everything
I need, but I think I'm short on grease. The 80g packets that come with
the boot kits are already short of the 90g bentley recommends per joint,
and I used some of the grease to get the boots on the shaft. I'm also
planning on messing up. So I need some more grease. Trouble is, no vw
dealers in my area of the grease in stock (o their parts departments are
closed today). Is there any chance of finding the correct grease at a
FLAPS? What exactly should I be looking for?

Thanks for any tips,
Wes
