I have an 88 Vanagon 2wd with an auto transmission. Had the transmission
rebuilt about 2 years ago. I am recently having a problem with the
transmission not shifting into 3rd when cold. It will shift normall from 1st
to 2nd. It will take about 5 minutes of driving and then the transmission
will work fine.

Any ideas as to what might cause this?
