I have a small collection of those bad boys here at the shop. There must be
nearly a dozen in the box on my shelf. Perhaps I should hold onto them for
a few years and retire in luxury. ;)

Cheers,

Jeff

Oh my gosh! They used to be around $38 and I thought that was too much.
VW is getting a bit crazy with parts they no longer want to carry I
guess. Start making them out of soup cans. I guess they are no made of
unobtanium.

What are these shields that they cost upwards of $110? Anybody have a
pic so
we could see how to make one? Stands to reason that the sensors should
be
shielded both from road crud (it turns out that the oxygen sample comes
through the tiny passages in the copper stranded wire, and it wouldn't
take
much to clog those up) and from cold air. They are kind of hanging out
in
the breeze.

Anyway--a hundred and ten bucks? Would that be the gold or the platinum
version?
