I'm not sure how import duties work, but the way Groschi at
southafrica-parts does it is he sends one big shipment containing all his
North American orders to a guy in Washington state, who then repacks
everything individually and sends them out separately. My father has spoken
with him several times over the last 3-4 months, keeping tabs on my SA brake
order status (VWSA has the saddles on BO), and as far as I know it's just
price + shipping.
Probably worth noting that he only goes to south africa four times a year,
and doesn't carry much in the way of stock on hand. He may have a few
grilles, but if he doesn't you might be looking at the same 5 months, as
they're probably backordered by VWSA.
