Easiest is to go to your local auto parts store (Canadian Tire?) get
a trailer hookup wiring kit...near the auto bulb section.  It's
usually a little black box that has circuits inside to allow
everything to go through 4 wires....It turns the multiple wires from
your van into the 4 wire plug trailers use...
