Yep, I concur with Chris, don't try removing the SA grille on a cold day... the pins just inside the stock headlights are tough to get loose. On the plus side, I've found that I don't need to remove the SA grille very often... unlike the stock grille (on my '85 anyway), there's room to get a wrench onto the radiator bleeder with the grille installed. Makes coolant change much easier! The plastic it's made from is plenty tough, and far more flexible that my old grille, also, the fewer (but larger) 'ribs' across the center are less likely to break than the many (but thin) ribs on the stock unit. I'm quite happy with the change... plus, it looks *way cool* :-) At 01:46 AM 3/29/2006 -0500, JordanVw@AOL.COM wrote: >In a message dated 3/28/06 3:21:29 PM Eastern Standard Time, >obeechi@RUNBOX.COM writes: > > > > Someone told me the SA GRILLE was flimsy and that he knew some people who > > had one installed.., and that they weren't happy.., Is there any truth to > > this??
