Considering the use of the AFM on my 2.0L air cooled any air pump would have to go between the AFM and the throttle body... replacing the often degraded 'S' hose. finding a place to put an exhaust driven turbine to power it might also prove a puzzle. I imagine cutting and welding the crossover pipe would be necessary. ...but I imagine custom computer control work would need to be done on the mixture then. Since the AFM is providing signals based on the air volume input. So how do you provide an oil supply to this thing? or do you need to use a type that doesn't require external lubrication? I'll have to look around the yard to see how this is done on Porsche or Subarus next time. Looks like fun. -- Wil "I always wondered why somebody doesn't do something about that.
