I need the group's collective wisdom....what am I doing wrong? My new ignition switch is installed per Vanagon.com's list of steps.....but..... Re-install ign.switch "block" over sterring column rod is pushing my steering coupler at my feet apart? I cannot seem to keep the coupler from seperating as I re-install ign. switch block. This cannot seperate because (1) steering safety; and (2) if it does, no room to install steering wheel (no threads...). What am I doing wrong? How to keep the coupler from seperating as I re-install ign. switch block? Thanks in advance....what would us non-pros. do w/ old Vanagons w/o this list?> Larry Georgia
