I have an '84 GL 7 passenger and an '85 Westy. The seats in the 7 passenger are both longer and have thicker cushions and my wife can really tell the difference on a long trip. She complains that the Westy doesn't offer the leg support that the 7 passenger does. I've even considered swapping the front passenger seats, for trips, just for her benefit.
