Hi Paul. My experience, in general, is that if a transmission doesn't go into 1st, or reverse easily, it is related to the clutch. The clutch hydraulics may not have been bled properly so clutch mech. not disengaging fully, clutch could be worn, or something in the shift linkage is set incorrectly. I had some kind of special (moly?) additive put in along with new gear oil when oil last changed. It made shifting easier. (getting into first, shifting down to second) Just my .02 --- "Cronin, Paul" <PCronin@ANTIGENICS.COM> wrote: SNIP >I had a hard time getting it into reverse and first >on the trip >home.
