I bet you have a trailer wiring plug on the van? If so it is causing the
problem. Get rid of it and all will be well

Thanks,

Subject: Blinkers, Flashers, and Brakes

Hi Folks,

I'm wondering if anybody has any additional ideas on a little problem I'm
having:

My blinkers and flashers only work when the brake pedal is not depressed.
When the brake pedal is depresssed, everything freezes.

I've checked all of the wires and grounds leading from the black box to the
lights themselves, and see no obvious problems, i.e. loose wires, touching
wires, etc.

I've cleaned the flasher switch contacts and reconnected; didn't see any bad
wires back there either.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated--trying to turn and brake and not
brake and getting the lights to do what they're supposed to do is a bit of a
hassle in the current state..

Thanks!
