Robert, I just installed a Dennis Haynes hitch on my 88 GL and I am
delighted with it. Hell for stout, and does not mount on the tow loops
as others do, but to the frame channels instead. It is a receiver type
hitch which gives it greater versatility and is secured to the channels
by three heavy bolts on each side. You will have little trouble ever
from this hitch and a great deal of peace of mind when traveling with a
trailer hooked to it.

I have two 88 GL's - one is my daily driver, and the other is my travel
vehicle. I put the first hitch on my daily driver. I am so pleased with
that first hitch that I am going get a second hitch from Dennis and
install it on my other 88 GL travel vehicle as well.

Good luck,
