Hello, I hear that if the pushrods are not properly inserted into the
little cups,on both ends, they can bend. This , when the engine is started.
look in the Bentely .It is mentioned in cylinder head replacement.Perhaps
your friend tried to do some repair work himself, and got it wrong.
