I often dream of a summer long trip in my Westy.  I'd love to take the kids to Alaska and visit as many national parks out west before they get too old and no longer want to go along.

  Taking 3 months vacation is not easily done.  It would be nice to be a teacher, this would seem easier.  I am curious if anyone who has done this type of trip has any suggestions on how they  managed the job issue.  At some point I would have to return to the "real world".
