Do all Vanagon radios run without the key?  Or is just
the camper models?  I have a 90 Westfalia and
purchased a wire harness for my new car stereo and it
does not work.  The red ignition wire on the new
harness connects to an empty socket in my vans dash
harness.  I purchased the item for Volkswagen/Audi
1987-up Stereo wire harness, which cover the Vanagon.
