I've totally stripped down my syncro to it's bare shell. poor naked syncro. I've been grinding off some, using phosphic acid on other, outside seam rust was tackled with and exacto knife, some dental picks and the dremel. But there's one spot i can't reach to treat "properly" it's on the inner rear wheel well. I was going to weld plates in to reinforce this area much like on the syncro 16" http://busman.be/afbeeldingen/wpb9efd996.png but i'm afraid to do this without treating it properly. It's nearly impossible to get to now, and if i do weld in plates, it'll never be touched again. so wht are my options? I know the vanagon world seems to be huge fans of por-15, and that's how I'm leaning, but i'd like to get some opinions before ordering some.
