Subject:Motor Scooter hung off backside?

If there is one thing that Mrs. Squirrel does not like about camping in
a Westy is how it tends to tie one down to a campsite. A trip to the
grocery store entails a lot of shifting of gear -- stowing the awning,
dropping the poptop, undoing gray water stuff, driving off the leveling
blocks, unhooking the solar panels, and all those bits that are attached
to Mellow Yellow and tend to reach out and grab nearby land.

She's partial to making small trips to nearby villages, I'm happier just
sittin'. Each to their own. She wonders if there is some way to bring a
small 50cc motor scooter. I can envision hanging a light one off a
sturdy rear hanger of some sort, but it would totally get in the way of
opening the rear hatch and we already pack a fair bit of gear in the
rear. A bitty trailer might be easier. I'd like to hear Handy Hints from
anyone who's worked on this problem and found something that works for
them.
