My felt channels are shot also.  I thought I recently saw them for ~$35, but now I can't find them for less than $70.  This is out of my budget so I swapped my left and right ones.  Since the inside of the channel was OK, it is now on the outside nd the noise is better.  Hopefully I can find the $35 ones and do it right someday.
