In need of far less ground clearance I'm retrofitting a spoiler to the  front
of my 83.5 westy. How do the models with spoilers deal with the spare tire
release pull tab? On my bus the plastic pull tab is perpendicular to the ground
 and reaches straight forward, but will soon have to be bent out of the way
to  allow for the spoiler. The pull tab is flexible plastic so it will bend
without  much resistance like the Democrats, but it will also become unfunctional
once  bent. (I can take no responsibility for any political comparisons you
may draw  from the second half of the sentence.)
