Tabe,

The coolant level sensor does indeed have an o-ring (P/N N90240002),
you may be able to replace just that.  On my '88, I ended up replacing
the expansion tank because of a crack in it, and then replaced the
overflow tank because I couldn't see the coolant level through the
opaque tank anymore.
