i left my drain cap on the ground while the tank drained, then drove over
it.  i need a new one.  bus depot has one for early and one for late 1987
(before and after "#J00001" on metal westfalia tag on rear seat).  my van is
at home, i'd like to order it today so i can use my water tank this weekend.
  is the difference significant (thread size or cap diameter)?  can i tell
if my van is early or late 1987 by some other feature change, one that i
might remember without seeing my van?
