He said he could tow me 3 times of a 100 miles each, which is my membership free yearly limit. Technically, he would have to disconnect/unload me after each 100 miles to satisfy AAA, but what the heck! In reality, I have only been towed twice in one day on the same trip-2 engine fires in the 63 DC when I was trying to drive it home after purchasing it out of state. Now, that was an inexpensive little endeavor! After 4 calls to AAA in a year they start charging you for going over your limit. Ask me again how I know? I have AAA cards for each member of my family (they do not like to be towed by Dad!) & when I went to pay the bill 1 year, my daughter had 8 extra tow charges in the year, including 4 on 1 day! Stop that!, I told her! Pax, Tom-AAA, can't live w/ it, can't live w/o it!
