Hi Ive also had this problem it got a little better by advancing the timing a few degrees. I mostly get it at idle at a stop light or something. sorta strange but have never been able to nail the cause. could be an advancement issue from the vacuum advance can. If i had a new dist or could have one bench tested to check to see if it is up to snuff that would be great. Does anyone know a place to bench test them?? >83.5 westy, 1.9 wbx freshly tuned by a local shop with a good rep. >All new ignition components.. >The engine idles fine, even when very hot outside (+32 C here today). >when you try to accelerate from a stop the engine bogs down and has a >hard time gaining any revs. Once it speeds up and clears itself it >has lots of power.
