I have a small 140 >watt power inverter We think that's a great combination. Been using it ever since our 11-watt reflector-flood finally took one too many tumbles. The small inverter with no fan is silent and only draws 75 ma or so when idle but can charge a laptop and suchlike while running the light. -- David Beierl - Providence RI USA -- http://pws.prserv.net/synergy/Vanagon/ '84 Westy "Dutiful Passage," '85 GL "Poor Relation"
