'82 Jetta should've still had the (mostly) mechanical CIS, so no computer involved. You really need to check system fuel pressure in order to properly diagnose CIS. I suspect the control pressure regulator isn't operating correctly, though it could be a bad pump, plugged filter, etc.-- airflow and fuel pressure are the driving forces behind CIS. http://home.hiwaay.net/~langford/corvair/cis.gif On 6/29/06, Robert Keezer <warmerwagen@yahoo.com> wrote: > > Since I moved back home I can't find my manual > and I have little understanding of Bosch CIS > fuel injection. > > Casey Olympia, WA Biodiesel: "I drive in a persistent vegetative state" '87 300TD intercooler #22 (216k) '84 300D (214k) Gashuffer: '89 Vanagon Wolfsburg Edition (187K) http://users.zhonka.net/zeitgeist/Misc/IMG_0171.JPG
