I've been using Freeze 12 in my '91 Westy for about 3 years now with no ill effects. I do lose the coolant over the year and have to recharge. But I had that happening after about 7 years of owning it from brand spankin' new. So I just keep charging it and one of these days I'll cough up the $$$ for a new compressor, evaporator and whatever else it needs. It works pretty much as well as R12. --- Maggie Dew <wildebus@GMAIL.COM> wrote: > From John Rodgers: > > "Apparently there is a very suitable substitute for > the R12, and that is > Freeze12.
