Heh! Is that what those are for? I never use them. I just roll up the fabric tight. It gets a little puffy at times, but compresses well enough to put the poles in on top. I have a Shadyboy as well, and love the elegance of it. it is quick to set up and take down and works quite well. I've tried bulldog clips, and they don't work either. Maybe Shadyboy has improved on this detail, but as it stands, it's frustrating. A second person is needed to keep the folds in place during the stowing operation.
