Hi,

My 94 Eurovan Westy has three seatbelts in the rear. My Vanagon
Westy has at least as wide rear bench, but only has two rear
lapbelts.

Has anyone installed a third lapbelt in their vanagon?

A guy in town offered me the front seatbelts from his '71 parts Westy.
Would these be easily adaptible to rear use? I found several
descriptions of how to put Vanagon shoulderbelts on the rear
bench, but wasn't sure if the bay window bus and the vanagon
belts are similar enough. If the bay belt will work on the
rear left side I can move the current rear left lapbelt
to the middle.

Curiously it seems difficult to buy anything seatbelt related
in local stores. Neither Canadian tire nor Auto Zone sells seatbelts.
I noticed Busdepot.com has seatbelts, but will try to find something
closer/cheaper before going that route.

Thanks for any advice or tips on installation or parts sources
in Edmonton/Canada.
