took a nice roadtrip down to VA from PA this weekend and the old vanagon did
a splendid job but I discovered two problems that I'd like some advice on:

1.) When i'm steering left.. even slightly I get a small rubbing
feeling/sound from the left front wheel.

2.) The radiator fan won't kick in.. like a shark, the van must move to stay
alive.  The fuse is fine.
