I went through a total of three of those OEM toy faucets before I put in a Shurflo and after two years of stellar water delivery and smart looks, I can say, without hesitation, that I done good! Seriously, toss that OEM faucet and try one of these. Its easy to mount, a quality unit and swings down out of the way to clear the stove lid. P-mail me if you want details on the install. Not difficult at all, just a few tidbits to know. I installed mine with a step-on foot switch. You can get one at West Marine. If the following URL doesn't work go to westmarine.com and search "shurflo electric faucets". The model # is 296493---its the "Single-Tap Faucet w/Switch": http:// www.westmarine.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product/ 10001/-1/10001/26355/10001/298/27/11 Jeff On Jul 19, 2006, at 3:44 PM, Automatic digest processor wrote: > Date: Wed, 19 Jul 2006 11:48:47 -0500 > From: William Treadway <bill@TREADWAYREALTYGROUP.COM> > Subject: westy sink faucet > > Hi > New to the list. > just bought my 5th westy camper, a 90 synchro > sink faucet works fine for the internal water but cannot shut off > external water. > I am told I need a new faucet assy. > WSould that be the concsensus? > I have seen them advertised for $50 new but havent run into any > suppliers who actually have one in stock. > Any suggestions there? > TIA > ______ > Bill Treadway > Broker Associate > John Daugherty Realtors > 281-639-4444 Direct > 281-850-8141 Cell > 832-550-2615 Fax
