The exhaust pipe coming from the right rear cylinder broke completely
through.

I'm planning to replace this engine with a diesel when BenT comes up with
the rest of the parts needed. And I come up with the money. This means a
year or so I suspect.

My plan is to replace just that one pipe and hope the rest holds for the
year or so.

Is this logical or am I guilty of wishful thinking?
