I saw some LED lights meant for using as brake light bulb replacements . . . the leds were red . .  saw in a flaps . .  just searched the list and don't see anything mentioned, did see something that led me to

So has anyone switched to something like this? Would be nice to never have your brake lights go out . . . its never fun getting pulled over by a cop . . . . (nothing personl fellow listees in law enforcement)
