Seems there are 2 coils on offer for 1984 Vanagons with the change point
around July of 84.

211905115B for the pre-July and 211905115D for the post-July.

Is this a significant difference?  i.e. if obtaining a used coil as a
carry-along spare would either be satisfactory or is it wrong to put the
later version on a May 84 Van?  TIA for any advice.
