Bought a used part from a guy on the list who sells such things. It came it
broken. So I offered to pay  the original less the cost of fixing it.

Vendor said NO. Insisted on refunding the entire amount saying that he'd
told me he sell me a good used part and hadn't done it.

That's my definition of reputable vendor. Also nice guy.

I didn't have his permission to post his name and it was a private
transaction. But I will pmail it to anyone who asks.

By the way I'd never met or spoken to the guy prior to this transaction so I
obviously have no interest in his business, financial or personal.
