Hi all.

Still installing new Bilstein shocks....

Driver side shock dust cover bellow (?) or "helper
spring" as local vw dealer calls it, has a pretty
severe tear. i.e. between "coils". They want $72 for
it special order. So.....

Can this part be sucessfully repaired with silicone or
some such?

Can send pic if needed.
