I am replacing my  leaking tank for the usual reasons

After searching the archive about gas tank replacement I have 2 remaining
questions.

1) how does the rails that support the tank come out after you remove the
bolt at the front of the rail? Does it slide out forward or drops a  bit then
slide out. etc?

2) this is answered by #1  how high does the van need to be off of the
ground to remove said rails.
