I'm toying around with an improved dash cluster design, mostly
bringing everything forward, as I'm tall and the top of the steering
wheel is in the way. Well I have a nice VDO electronic speedometer
lying around to use (it goes up to 160MPH; how optimistic!), but I'm
hesitant to drop a big wad of cash on a new VDO tach for what will
probably end up being Yet Another Abandoned Idea. I do, however, have
a line on an old Porsche 914 tach for really cheap-- plus I like that
it has turn signal and high-beam indicators in it. It worked with a
2.0 Type IV in a 914, so it oughtta work with a 2.1 wbx, right? Does
anyone have the wireup handy?
