Subject:Re: Evans NPG+ non-aqueous coolant - was: blue vs green vs orange coolant

I just got off the phone with Tom from Evans. I spoke to him about using
the coolant in our Vanagons and he was very positive and upbeat about it.
He said you would not have to change anything, just be sure to flush all of
the old antifreeze out. I am thinking about trying it on my 90 Carat when I
install the rebuilt engine (should be within the next month or so). I guess
I'll post to the list if/when I do this.

Thanks,
Ken Wilford

Sounds to good to be true. Where do you get the stuff?

Danial: Thanks for the link. I just read through this material, sounds
interesting. How does the 'no pressure' aspect work? Does one put a pin
hole in the expansion tank cap?? Or is it that this special coolant does
not expand and therefor does not create pressure? Thanks, malcolm
