A lady nurse came into the local bank in a rush - lunch hour on Friday -
needing to cash her paycheck, and get back to work. She reached for a
pen in her purse with which to endorse her check,  pulled out  instead a
rectal thermometer, and was heard to exclaim to the teller, "Damn, damn,
some a**hole has got my pen!!"
