Subject:Bosch #72137 oil filter question (have searched archives....)
From:neil

Hi all.

First up, sorry for asking a potentially hackneyed
question.

Am changing oil and plan on using Bosch oil filter #
72137 from local Canadian supplier. (Mann/Mahle more$,
harder to get plus I will be purchasing affordable CV
boot kit available from vendor of Bosch filter)

Is this the correct filter? i.e. will it have the
proper valves?

On another note...

I remember reading in archives of 24 mm deep sockets
when researching tools. Can't find the relevant post
nor can I recall if I need this tool.

On what would this socket be used? Do I need one in my
arsenal of tools? (I plan on doing most if not all my
own van work)

Running 81' AC Westy.

Thanks for any info!
