I think that's where my leak is coming from - horizontal rain due to water backing up.  I installed a new OEM seal from VW and skylight from Trevor but I still have leaks.  I guess maybe I'll try sealing the hardware better.

Should I have used some sort of silicon or whatever on the seal itself?
