Bravo Ken! Just what I was thinking! Many are the times that I have used Holmes' particular form of Cartesian analysis - reasoning backwards from effects to causes - in order to solve Vanagon mysteries! This whole list, indeed the entire Vanagon ownership experience, is strongly wed to the science of deduction!
